Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Well, Christmas cards did not happen this year. For those of you who were looking for one, I am sorry. This has been a crazy few months (starting Fall Break at the beginning of October) and I just ran out of time! Consider this post your holiday greeting card from the Woleks!

Christmas started for us at the other Wolek's. Santa visited grandma and grandpa's street as usual the Sunday before Christmas. We decided to make that night our gift exchange night as well. The Christmas Eve service at church was lovely. Then Christmas morning we opened presents at home then headed to the Friend's to open presents and have dinner. It was a crazy week but we all had a great time! Click on pretty Penny's picture below to see some of the highlights!

We hope you all have a wonderful New Year! Here's to a blessed 2010!

Merry Christmas!

Now here is day two of Christmas for us.  These are at Nathan's parents' house.  Click below to view!

Okay, we've now had Christmas at Amy's parents.  Below is a link to those pictures!

We're all done here at our house.  We had a good morning.  Here's a link to some pics.  I'll add more over the next couple of days.

Track Santa in Real Time

This is pretty cool. Norad + Google = Real Time Santa Maps. Download it and share the fun with your kids.

Merry Christmas!

wishlists

Some of you remember my frustration a couple of years ago trying to make a Christmas wishlist for Bethany.  My friend told me about a site called The Things I Want.  You put this button on your browser's bookmark bar so you can add things from any website to a single wish list.  It's been great, but not exactly the most user-friendly.  Some things are still a little confusing.  This afternoon I was surfing amazon and saw that they now have a "universal wishlist".  You can add items from any website to your amazon list.  They also now have a function similar to The Things I Want where one person can manage several lists without separate accounts and logins.  This is great for parents with kids, or even spouses who would like to have wishlists in one place.

So I'm thinking about putting in some more time to explore the amazon version.  I need to compare the two options and also decide if it's worth the time to put all the stuff from each of our lists into a new list!

christmas in the air

Amy and B spent today putting out Christmas decor and playing Christmas music. Tis the season. Fa la la. Deck the halls and such. All and all a relaxing change of pace. B has been in rare form.

Awkward moment of the day: Bethany just started singing Santa Baby. Amy explained that it was on the radio in the car the other day. Amy and I laughed and then stopped, in an attempt not to encourage it. Not exactly something I want my three year old singing. Little too much innuendo.

We'll laugh more later. Hope you do so now. Merry Christmas!
